You are buying ONE, either the left or the right, each a framed original antique print (professionally framed in a hand painted frame with 6 acid free mats, 2 of them hand painted with minute details by artist as well, French style).
This is a 19C antique original chromolithograph, a beautiful authentic hand-colored English print of a bird from a collection of highly detailed plates from the Rev. F. O. Morris’s work published in the mid 1800’s by Groombridge, London.
This is an excellent hand-tinted colored print and a scarce collectible in perfect condition although over 100 years old. It has been framed in a custom hand painted frame. 6 acid free mats were also added.
Original English 1860’s antique hand-colored bird engraving from "A history of British birds", by Reverend. F. O. Morris - Rev. Francis Orphen Morris - (1810-1893), rector of Nunburnholme, Yorkshire.
Every plate from “An History of British Birds”, was colored by hand.
