We recently closed our gallery of rare antique books and prints, original signed art, rare textile art and unique hand painted frames, some of the prints and art framed, some not, and all our artwork and antique prints will be listed here daily as we go.

I am selling this unique collector artwork, all handcrafted, from the intense detailed silk needle embroidery work to the hand painted signed frame and mats much lower than cost of goods.

Framing job alone was in the $600.00 ++ range and frame is hand painted with details as well as the mats, and signed.

Very large, hand stitched Silk Embroidery of great beauty and colors, an original Masterpiece, a unique one of a kind art panel created with small silk stitches and representing 2 large peacocks, male and female, among cherry blossoms, bright red flowers and pine trees. It was stretched, custom matted and framed professionally in 2 hand painted mats with details and a hand painted frame as well, signed by the artist.

Frame was hand painted with detailed designs and signed: Art by Dominique Rice. The acid free double mats were also hand painted with details to match the frame and the one of a kind amazing and detailed artwork.  Incredible work!  

This is a stunning painting masterpiece, not done with paint, but completely hand embroidered with the best of hand-twisted silk threads (Silk is very time-consuming to work with, but last for centuries) & with extreme intense detail and fantastic colors, embroidered by hand, stitch by stitch, by an excellent artist: this work of needle art is a time consuming process that takes a few months to complete and is being sold at a fraction of its value, plus we have framed it professionally.

It actually looks more vibrant and rich than a painting and seems more in relief as well because of the silk use which adds a dimension to the work. The colors are amazing too. This is a unique piece of art: quality pieces such as this one are beautifully rendered and created by a master embroiderer. 

We usually sell a large custom framed piece like this from $2,000.00 and up from our gallery. This is a bargain! Such embroideries sell for more money in Saigon by themselves than our price.
