THIS SET WAS ONCE BUILT AS A DISPLAY IN OUR STORE IN 2004, TO HELP US SELL THE OTHER KITS LIKE IT. WHEN THEY WERE ALL SOLD, THIS WAS DISMANTLED AND KEPT UNDER PLASTIC IN A BOX, AND NOW FOR SALE HERE.

The Grand Tournament was released in 2004 for Knight's Kingdom II. Vladek (who is not included with this set, probably ended up by accident in another castle set we have for sale in our listings). Usually, he is the opponent of Jayco Hawk in a joust. King Mathias usually watches the fight from his tournament tent where his throne is. A weapons rack, two large shield stands, and various accessories are included. Everything is there except for Vladek, 2 shields & their stands. NONE OF THE MISSING PIECES AFFECT THE CONSTRUCTION.

What you see is what you get on my actual photos (except for the 3 pine trees seen on 1 of the photos, they DO NOT belong to this kit but to another one, a christmas set, also for sale here). What is also missing from this set, as I mentioned above, are 2 large shields with their stands + the Lego box, seen on the professional photos from the Lego company and absent from my photos since I do not have them, so when you look at my own photos, you see absolutely everything you are getting EXCEPT FOR THE PINE TREES WHICH BELONG TO ANOTHER KIT AND SEEN ON PHOTO 20.

 As I said, you only get King Mathias & Jayco in this set but, since we just found out Vladek is missing, we added 5 more minifigures and a guard station SEEN ON PHOTOS 6 & 15, the mini figures are pre-owned & all are missing their hands, we have no more hands available so we could not complete them but, as Vladek, they can easily be re-purchased, and we reduced our asking price accordingly when we found out what was missing in the first place. So the 5 extra MFS and guard house amount to 27 extra pieces (pre-owned) FREE.

Instruction booklet, in great condition, is also included. A unique playing experience where you can actually shoot vehicles out of LEGO built structures to really replicate jousting in a fun and safe way. Overall a very nostalgic and enjoyable build.
