PLATE III

From "PARIS A TRAVERS LES AGES, ASPECTS SUCCESSIFS DES MONUMENTS ET QUARTIERS HISTORIQUES DE PARIS"

THIS IS
“HOTEL DE VILLE” (28 JUILLET 1830)
by
M.F. Hoffbauer, Architect, Engraved by Benoist, Sorieu & Bayalos.

Also Framed in a hand painted frame with a granite look and matted professionally and seen selling elsewhere on the internet unframed for 175.00 per litho or more and not framed like this one is.

The frame is vintage as we did not want to use a brand new frame around an antique plate.

Please inspect carefully to be satisfied as this is purposely not a brand new frame but all is perfect.

Tinted Plate alone is 17 3/4” x 12 1/2”, plate marks at 14 1/2” x 9”

Finished size with frame: 26 ½” x 20 ½”

From the Parisienne collection of some beautiful lithographs from: Paris a travers les Ages: monuments, vues, scenes historiques, descriptions et histoire : dessins et lithographies; vignettes de Félix Benoist exécutées sur bois par les premiers graveurs.

We try to locate antique or vintage frames for all our antique prints as they show much better that way, as the slightly distressed look is more fitting and eclectic looking.

NOT A REPRODUCTION

This is reduced to less than 1/2 since we just closed our art gallery and are liquidating what is left.

The print is an original!

This is a real bargain, and ready to go!

It makes a great gift for collectors of rare prints.
We also carry loose original prints 300 years old or less in great condition such as: Albin, Audubon, Baron, Barraband, Bertuch, Brodtmann, Brown, Buffon, Cassel, Curtis, Cuvier, Donovan, Edwards, Fitch, Frisch, Grandville, Harrison, Walter Hood, Latham, Linden,Linnaeus, Loddiges, Martinet, McKenney, Morris, Munting, Redoute, Reinchenbachia, Schreber, Schubert, Selby, Shaw and Nodder, Van Geel, Warner, etc.... etc...

Again, we closed our art store of antique prints and custom frames as well as our store of rare artifacts from around the world and we will now sell them direct to the public here. We have 1000's of antique prints and it will take a while to do so, so if you are interested in prints from the names above or others since I did not have time to list them all, please contact us.
