GREAT SHAPE  INSIDE. PAGES VERY CLEAN. NO FOXING. ONLY ONE PAGE WITH A BLACK AND WHITE ENGRAVING OF FISH HAS A SLIGHT TEAR ON THE LEFT MARGIN SHOWN ON PHOTO 11.

ITALIAN  FLORENTINE MARBLING MOTIFS ON THE INSIDE OF THE BOOK COVER, MARBLING: 18 C. PATTERN BASED PAPER, MARBLED ON LAID, ANTIQUE, HANDMADE LINEN RAG PAPER, AND GILT-EDGED PAGES WITH 24 KARAT GOLD-LEAF AND RED RIBBON PAGE MARKER.

A nice antique book, 1901, hardcover leather bound book:  The leather spine is in pretty good shape for its age with normal wear. Pages and pictures look really nice, great condition. Profusely illustrated with colored plates, and engravings.
