(The other bars on the photos have been sold)

Each was delicately sculpted, with details and by hand, by a master carver, out of one solid piece of wood, and will compliment any window top, or door, or enhance any textile or drapes that hang from them on your wall, adding a rich look to your décor.

Since they are each hand carved, they are unique, pattern vary slightly from one to another but they all go together and you can mix-match them as a result.

They make dramatic displays for valuable textiles you wish to hang on the wall, for a very reasonable price. The effect is quite stunning and covers a large area in a very decorative, economical and elegant way.

The hand carved designs of foliage and leaves (and sometimes animals as well within the branches such as elephants, birds, geckos, fish, dolphins etc…) are elegant and lacy.

If you do not like this selection, we have others available :

If you want to see all the hangers we have listed right now, do a search within our store using the word DISPLAY, as this word is in all our bar titles… but we do not have many listed yet, we were hacked recently and lost 100’s of listings and are painfully restoring them now, which will take a few months. If you want to see other hangers not listed yet, contact us. We have hand carved bars in many sizes and designs available.

The rods enhance greatly and eclectically the fine textiles that hang from them: from Quilt, Embroidery, Needlepoint, Needlework, Kimono, Obi, Ikat, Rug, Songket, Geringsing, Tapestry, Runner, Mola, Weaving etc…

Japanese museums, among other locations, buy our bars for their kimonos and obis. Some jewelry stores, clothes, scarf and accessories stores also buy these bars to display their goods on the walls, very elegant.

You can also just use them as Architectural Accents around or above doors, windows, mirrors & frames. Bars can be painted to match any decor and we have even used them outside over doors and windows.

We have many different sizes, styles, motifs and sizes available in our store ranging from intricate foliage and flowers, palm trees in the breeze, pineapples… to animals such as elephants, geckoes, dragons, horses, birds, fish, dolphins etc.

We carry also simpler classical bars, with finials at each end.

Textiles will hang flat, gathered or folded according to the length of the display bar you choose. But the opposite also works: you can choose a much longer bar than the width  of your fabric, which gives a Japanese decorative effect to your space.

Everything we carry, all handcrafted and unique products, have been hand-picked by us on the premises to insure the best quality possible.

We are liquidating the rest of our wooden bars to close warehouse space as soon as possible in order to retire.

All our collector and rare items come with pages and pages of research about provenance, and with history of the tribes and photos as well, depending on item and whenever possible. When shipping internationally, we group ship multiple purchases to save you money, and find the best rates available. If you have any questions or want to see research conducted on this piece and photos of tribes, tell us.
